Student-Staffed Writing Center
The Student-Staffed Writing Center is a one-semester course that is run by students. These tutors create a schedule around their personal schedules to make time to help their clintes. Students tutor other students on how they can improve writing and help them work on writing assignments for school or any other writing assignments. The writing center also trains with the University of Maine Writing Center. Anyone can join the Writing Center. The Writing Center takes place in many locations such as Ms. Dixon's classroom, the Library, and the Guidance Conference Room. The Writing Center was started in 2017.
